Hi!

Roger Dupuy's BIO

What Have I Done?

I have been an English language teacher and designer and teacher-trainer at University of California, Irvine’s Division of Continuing Education.

Well...I have also spoken at conferences and facilitated workshops locally and internationally on teaching English and education technology.

I have done a bunch of NGO work since high school.

I have tutored a famous Korean TV personality. Who is he? His last name is Lee and he is famous for expressive ‘eye-rolling’.

I published two books on how to integrate iOS/iPads into California’s ‘common core’ state standards.

I designed and facilitated numerous teacher-training programs for the ministries of education of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, France, Israel, Brazil, Chile et. al.

I helped develop the first of its kind EMI (English-Mediated Instruction) training program for higher ed.

I like to make music. Catch my little song I wrote and performed for Disney Plus’s “Pick of the Litter”. Hint: It’s the last song of the series.

I (yes there’s more) designed a nice little universal tabletop RPG game. It balances narrative-style play without tossing really fun, crunchy numerical mechanics. It’s called World Without End (WOE) and it’s in closed play-test now.

I regularly host English pronunciation clinics throughout the week on the Clubhouse Platform.

INSTAGRAM: I post recorded natural English expressions with explanations on my instagram [@rogerteacher].

I love the narrative arts, curriculum design, content delivery, game design, and emerging technologies. I love to draw while listening and teaching. I take pictures too and I’m working on a novel.
